MAC Paint Pots

2

I am a huge fan of MAC Paint Pots. I use Painterly every single day as my base before shadow and I feel like it holds up really well. I do not have oily eyelids so I can’t tell you how these would work if you do. I only own 3 shades, Painterly, Indianwood (antique brown) and Perky (soft pink). I had heard claims that these dry out quickly but in my experience I have had them for quite some time and there’s not even a sign of it drying up. I have gone through an entire Painterly with no drying. These are honestly what I turn to when I am doing a quick make up look and running out the door. It takes no time to swipe these on and they blend so easily. They are super creamy with wonderful colour pay off. Coming in at $25 a pop, they are on the more expensive side – with Maybelline Colour Tattoos at a fraction of the price. In saying that, in MY opinion, these are totally worth it. I hope to expand my Paint Pot collection in the future and I recommend you add at least 1 to yours!

Nail of the Day

I forgot to take a picture today of my make up soooooo nails it is!

China Glaze in Jungle Queen

Creamy and only 2 coats to achieve a full, thick finish. There is also a base coat and top coat. This is more of a fall colour but the weather here has been cool and rainy so it was feeling appropriate!

Olay Fresh Effects Wipes & Face of the Day

Olay-Fresh-Effects-Swipe-Out-Refreshing-Make-up-Removal-Cloths

I am a believer in keeping wipes next to my bed in case of an emergency. An emergency in meaning I have had the longest day ever and I can’t even muster up the strength to stand long enough
to take off my make up or shower, so instead I can lay on my bed and blindly remove my make up with a wipe. So this post will be short and to the point. I bought the Olay Fresh Effects
Wipes and had the worst experience. They smell wonderful, the cloth itself is soft but whatever they soaked that cloth in was toxic for me. It gave me a chemical burn under
my eyes. I reread the package because I thought I had messed up and wasn’t supposed to use this for the eye area but no, right on it, it says it can be used to remove
eye make up. Obviously I stopped using it because I had red, scaly, burnt under eyes which a day afterwords the entire skin sloughed off (sorry for that mental image). I don’t
have sensitive eyes normally so this was all shocking. I have emailed Olay and let them know – who knows if they’ll care but if you decide to try these out, be cautious!
And if you HAVE tried them out, how was your experience? Final thought: PASS.

Julep Bare Face Cleansing Oil & Face of the Day

1

I am a subscriber to the Julep Maven box which I will not get into detail about in this post but possibly in the future. You could also check it out yourself on the Julep website!
In one of my boxes I received the Bare Face Cleansing Oil which I was actually really excited to try out. I have no experience with cleansing oils and only know about them from
what I hear of other bloggers and youtubers. I didn’t quite know what to expect and was a little hesitant through my excitement, seeing as I have combination skin and am prone to acne.
Fear not! As you can tell from my picture the Cleansing Oil is almost finished and I have not suffered one blemish because of it. It’s definately something to get used to as
you are essentially slathering your face with oil (which I thought would be unpleasent but really was pleasurable to use!). Though I don’t feel like it has many benefits as in age defying, ultra hydrating or any other claim it has made in regards to renewing
cell turnover etc, I think it does a fantastic job of breaking down my make up and removing dirt and impurities without drying out my skin. If anything my skin feels even more hydrated afterwords.
I do still use a cleanser afterwords because though it breaks down my make up I personally feel like it doesn’t remove it all. I have always been a 2 Step Cleanser kinda girl
and this is no exception. If you are like me and like products to remove your make up before you cleanse, this product is a great 1st step. Weighing in at $28.00 ($22.40 if you are a maven) it is
in my opinion on the more expensive side. I don’t have anything to compare it to as of yet so I couldn’t tell you if the steep price is worth it. I will get back to you on
that one once I try out a few more oil based cleanser. Final thought: If you have the extra cash and are looking for a basic product to break down and remove your makeup without
leaving your skin feeling dry – this is definately worth a try!

The beginning of thatface.

My name is Natasha and I have an addiction to beauty. Quite the shallow statement, isn’t it?! I don’t think so. I LOVE anything that makes a person feel good inside or out and though that is more then any one thing for me, make up/beauty is the front runner. My goal with this blog is to review products I use whether it be make up, skincare or body care. I want to share how I feel about these things and hopefully you will share your thoughts as well! This page is meant to be a fun and positive experience. I do not work in the beauty industry and I do this strictly out of passion. There will be no biases towards certain brands and I am completely up for suggestions and feedback. Some days I might not even have reviews but maybe just a picture of something I’m loving – anyway. I’m rambling. Welcome to allthatface.

xoxo
